Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting Department in Athens. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in general accounting, experience with SAP FI, and very good understanding of Greek legal requirements, including AADE – MyDATA obligations.

Your Challenge

• Support daily accounting operations and month‑end closing activities.
• Perform general ledger postings, reconciliations, and account analyses.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Greek tax legislation, MyDATA requirements, and internal policies.
• Prepare financial data for statutory reporting, tax filings, and audits.
• Support SAP FI processes, troubleshoot issues, and participate in system enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Controlling, Procurement, HR, Auditors, etc.) to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting data.
• Assist the HoA in process improvements, documentation, internal controls and evaluating general ledger impacts on divisional result
• Participate in projects aimed at digitalization and optimization of accounting workflows.

What do you need to bring with you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–5 years of professional experience in Accounting.
• Very good knowledge of SAP (FI module is essential).
• Strong understanding of Greek tax framework and MyDATA reporting requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Team‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
• High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality
• Fluency in both written and verbal English is required.
