We are looking for an Apprentice in Milan within the Smart Infrastructure Buildings area who will be trained in as Field Engineer.

Your Challenge

As a Field Engineer some of your main activities will be:

• Analysis and evaluation of technical specifications, base designs of engineering solutions, including the preparation of drawings, calculations, bill of materials, engineering instructions and processes
• Applying innovative design methods, tools, and engineering practices to design development.
• Providing the cost-effective execution of projects deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Communicate engineering designs and processes to internal stakeholders and actively contribute to project evaluations and client project meetings.
• Collaborating with Supply Chain for input on vendor documentation, bids and evaluation of proposals, materials and equipment.
• Sharing engineering guidelines across different projects and subject areas to support the development of junior colleagues.
• Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.

Required entry qualifications:

• You have less than 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract
• You are fresh graduate or you have a technical academical background (ITS Technical Degree or technical diploma)
• Expertise in CAD software, such as AutoCAD
• Knowledge of control systems and field instrumentation for HVAC plants
• Knowledge of the applications of electromechanical principles
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards
• Familiarity with building automation, fire safety, and security systems is a plus
• Proficiency in English and Italian
• Team player ability, strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a changing environment and time management
• Passionate and prepared to manage issues related to technological innovation
• Willingness to stay up to date on new technologies and learn about new systems
• Passion to never-stop growing
• Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge
• Eligibility to work in Italy
