Within our Service & Governance Unit Controlling & Finance (CF) our department CF R 5 4 is responsible for standardizing and ensuring quality in the value flow of ERP systems. We specify requirements and design solutions for accounting processes in ERP systems with Siemens-wide relevance. A key component for Siemens' accounting processes includes the OIR process, as well as integration with the value flow from logistics. 

As part of this responsibility, a transformation project named SHERPA X has been initiated to develop and roll out a uniform financial solution based on SAP S/4HANA technology.

This will be your impact. 
  • Driving process harmonization and governance across business units and Siemens AG HQ entities, in Controlling and Revenue Recognition processes within global S/4HANA template
  • Bring in your strong background in template design and scalable controlling and revenue recognition architectures for complex business structures 
  • Strengthening the Lead to Cash process through holistic process understanding between Controlling, Finance, Sales and Distribution and Project system
  • Demonstrating your extensive experience in new S/4 HANA tools and functionalities as Predictive accounting, Margin Analysis, Event-based-revenue-recognition and analysis for office reports
  • Lead global rollout of controlling and revenue recognition process, including Cutover, Data Migration, and Hypercare, ensuring stable go live of entities
  • Strengthening communication and transparency in the Lead-to-Cash process by serving as interface between technical teams, governance, and business end users, ensuring smooth adoption of template processes
  • Own prioritization and content of the agile product backlog, coordinating testing, acceptance, and deployment activities across multiple regions

This is how you´ll win us over. 
  • Successfully completed degree or equivalent experience in business studies or economics or alternatively comparable qualification has been reached
  • Many years of professional experience in accounting, controlling and finance, including representation in ERP systems, with deep understanding of Siemens‑specific internal processes and global governance frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Siemens AG HQ ARE structures and their integration into global S/4HANA template processes (Controlling & Revenue Recognition)
  • Deep technical understanding of S/4HANA capabilities in Controlling and Revenue Recognition—Predictive Accounting, Margin Analysis, Event‑Based Revenue Recognition and integration with Finance, SD, and Project System
  • Knowledge of agile and tool supported project methodology, experience in a global environment, operational business experience as well as intercultural experience is key
  • Ability to develop and articulate concepts in English that are understood by both business users and IT is helpful
  • Experience in working within virtual and global teams and you are a standout colleague with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business proficiency in English, additional languages are highly welcome
