We invite you to apply for the role of MES Customer Support Co‑ordinator and join our Managed Equipment Services (MES) team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to help deliver contracted services across NHS sites, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your contribution will directly support patient care by helping maintain service continuity and contractual performance.

Your role:

  • Helpdesk & Service Coordination: Provide helpdesk services in line with contractual requirements, prioritising and tracking jobs for engineers based on customer needs and service obligations.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Support: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with NHS clinicians, staff, management, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Administrative Support: Deliver confidential, reliable administrative and organisational support to the MES team.
  • Scheduling & Reporting: Schedule maintenance activities, input service reports, and support the preparation of information presented to customers following planned maintenance.
  • Equipment Asset Management: Maintain accurate records within the Equipment Asset Management (EAM) system, including arranging servicing with external suppliers and Trust staff.
  • Commercial & Operational Support: Raise purchase orders related to contractual delivery and identify ongoing service issues, escalating risks or failures to senior MES colleagues when required.
  • Compliance & Training: Maintain individual training records and ensure compliance with work instructions, quality policies, codes of conduct, and health & safety requirements.
  • Operational Flexibility: Support operational needs across multiple sites and undertake other duties appropriate to the role when required.

Your expertise:

  • Office & Administration Experience: Proven experience working in a busy office environment with high attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Commercial Awareness: Basic commercial and financial awareness.
  • IT Skills: Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and other MS Windows‑based applications.
  • Collaboration & Inclusion: Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Self‑Motivation & Flexibility: A proactive, self‑starting approach with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Interest in Healthcare: A genuine interest in working within a healthcare environment.
