Account Technology Manager (ATM) – Hardware Assisted Verification

Position Overview
As a member of Siemens EDA Technology Solution Sales, you are responsible for working with leading edge customers defining methodologies to solve their hardest problems verifying the correct function of their latest ICs. You will own development and execution of the strategy to achieve business targets and strategic objectives for hardware-assisted functional verification products (hardware prototyping and emulation) within select Silicon Valley accounts.
The ATM drives the relative priorities of all hardware assisted verification opportunities in the territory and provides a clear direction for resource allocation to the field management and business unit.
Responsibilities include:
- Foster relationships with customers to better understand their challenges and propose Siemens solutions where appropriate.
- Develop the customer-facing product introduction strategy, in partnership with field technical management.
- Define, lead and manage the account campaigns
- Develop a rich working knowledge of the trends affecting the electronics business in general, and your customers specifically
- Create and deliver presentations at local industry events (US West) to represent Siemens EDA’s product portfolio to the public
- Serve as the key field resource in your area to summarize competitive offerings and trends
- This position may involve up to 40% travel.
Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- Four year Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of contemporary digital design verification practices employing hardware acceleration
- Commonly, 5 to 8 years of related and relevant experience in various aspects of hardware-assisted verification; either emulation or FPGA prototyping
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Customer-facing experience is a significant plus.
- Working knowledge of financial metrics and the vocabulary used in business
- Organizational knowledge including formal and informal structures
- Product, market, and industry knowledge in emulation and verification technology
- Solid history of using your wits and experience to originate and drive creative solutions
- Professional presence at the Director and C-level
- Ability to influence and manage indirectly

The salary range for this position is $216,200 to $410,900 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. The pay range for this position is $197,300 - $394,600 annually with a target incentive of 30% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
