Vacancy: Security Commissioning Engineer 
Location: North of England & Midlands Area 
Function: Siemens Smart Infrastructure - Buildings

As a Security Commissioning Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in commissioning or project execution, helping to deliver high-quality security systems including access control and CCTV. This role is ideal for individuals looking to take the next step in their engineering career and move forward into commissioning role.  

The role will require a flexible approach, with travel across the North of England and Midlands, as well as late/night shifts and some weekend work to support specific projects and customer sites across the wider branch area. This flexibility is well compensated with excellent OTE package. 

You will make a difference by  
  • Commissioning and demonstrating of Medium - CCTV & Access Control systems. 
  • Completion of clear & accurate work reports and commissioning certificates. 
  • Provide a high level of customer service to clients and maintain the highest standards of quality. 
  • Follow all Health & Safety requirements. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. 
  • Working closely with our existing team of expert engineers
Your defining qualities 
  • Experience working in the Security industries 
  • Experience in the delivery of complex CCTV & Access control Systems on new/existing sites 
  • A solid understanding of a variety of manufacturer's equipment, products and systems. 
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with good people management skills. 
  • A full clean driver's license. 
  • A good knowledge of networking and IT skills 
  • Good communication skills, outgoing & customer orientated 
Desirable 
  • Experience with Siemens Security Systems (but not essential) 
  • Fire & Security regulations (BS5839-1) 
  • Experience of working in a construction & Working Office environment’s 
  • MS Office experience (Excel/Word etc.) 
  • Working knowledge of PC’s & IP networking (training provided)
