Software test engineer in mobility project
You’ll make an impact by:
- Overcome complex problems in a newly formed project with high customer visibility
- Help us form the future of market leading solutions in the railway industry
- Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases
- Participate in the definition of test strategies and contribute to the overall quality assurance process
- Identify, document and track bugs; collaborate with developers to resolve issues
- Co-operate with other colleagues in a multi-national team to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
- Review and write technical documentation related to testing
- Support the automation of test processes and continuous integration
Your success is grounded in:
- Relevant degree in engineering or informatics
- 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automated)
- Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems
- Experience in working in agile methodologies
- Customer oriented approach, strong communication skills
- Proactive mindset, good exceptional problem-solving skills
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
You’ll stand out with:
- Understanding of the relevant standards in railway engineering
- German communication skills
- ISTQB certification or similar
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Experience with version control systems (preferably GIT)
- Experience in PLC programming
- Enthusiasms for the railway world
