Software test engineer in mobility project

You’ll make an impact by:

• Overcome complex problems in a newly formed project with high customer visibility
• Help us form the future of market leading solutions in the railway industry
• Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases
• Participate in the definition of test strategies and contribute to the overall quality assurance process
• Identify, document and track bugs; collaborate with developers to resolve issues
• Co-operate with other colleagues in a multi-national team to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
• Review and write technical documentation related to testing
• Support the automation of test processes and continuous integration

Your success is grounded in:

• Relevant degree in engineering or informatics
• 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automated)
• Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems
• Experience in working in agile methodologies
• Customer oriented approach, strong communication skills
• Proactive mindset, good exceptional problem-solving skills
• English proficiency (written and spoken)

You’ll stand out with:

• Understanding of the relevant standards in railway engineering
• German communication skills
• ISTQB certification or similar
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Experience with version control systems (preferably GIT)
• Experience in PLC programming
• Enthusiasms for the railway world
