Siemens Mobility is a leading provider of innovative mobility products and solutions, covering the full rail asset lifecycle through hardware, software, and services. Our mission is simple but ambitious: help customers make better decisions by turning IoT data from rail assets into reliable, actionable insights!

Your Contribution:

In this key role, you will strengthen our Business Excellence team in Quality Management, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our safety culture and process excellence, while designing and managing the Integrated Management System (IMS) for Siemens Mobility.

The role ensures the effective implementation, continuous development, and harmonization of the Integrated Management System (IMS) across business units.

Responsibilities also includes planning the company’s external audit program and ensuring its smooth execution in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.

You will lead the continuous development of product safety management systems in large-scale rail and infrastructure projects, ensuring full compliance with regulatory, operational, and industry-specific safety standards.

You manage product safety governance activities, including audits, risk assessments, corrective actions, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders, authorities, customers, and project partners.

In addition, you plan and manage external audits (matrix certification), systematically analyze audit results, and identify required actions.

You translate these findings into concrete measures and are responsible for managing and tracking their implementation within the corrective action and deficiency management process.

Acting as a central interface, you will lead and further develop the Product Safety Community, fostering company-wide knowledge exchange on safety requirements.

The role also includes advising departments and projects on IMS and product safety implementation, as well as conducting product safety risk analyses.

You work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Security, Corporate Quality Management, Business Units) and also represent product safety topics towards external authorities and customers.

You independently conduct internal audits, product safety (PS) audits, and product safety system (PSS) assessments and follow up on actions.

Your Profile:
  • University Degree preferably in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and certification (ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001), with proven auditing experience.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., rail, automotive, aerospace, medtech).
  • Experience in planning and conducting internal and external audits, alongside the development of comprehensive, end-to-end management systems.
  • Experience working with authorities and regulatory institutions is valued.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and normative frameworks.
  • Risk management, process management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, from shop floor level up to top management.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, is a key requirement for this role.
  • English fluency is required; German is a plus.
