The Opportunity

Head of APAC GTM Operations - MendixRapidMiner (MXRM) is the operational backbone of the MXRM Specialized Sales organization in Asia-Pacific. This role exists to protect and accelerate the APAC Zone Sales Leader's ability to execute: by running the forecasting rhythm, building the pipeline visibility the zone needs, and translating GTM performance into Finance-ready P&L narratives.

This is not a generalist ops role. MXRM operates on a distinct GTM motion — high-velocity lead funnel, Land-to-Expand post-sale engine, ARR and NRR as primary value metrics.

The role operates within the two-layer GTM Ops model: global strategy and tooling is set by the VP GTM Ops (Global); zone-level execution and insights are owned by this role for APAC. The role reports solid-line to the VP GTM Ops (Global), with dotted lines to the APAC Zone Sales Leader. Geographic scope covers Asia-Pacific — ANZ, Japan, SEA, India, Korea, and Greater China — with Singapore preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and drive the APAC zone Management Operating Rhythm (MOR): weekly pipeline reviews, opportunity scrubs, Sales Manager syncs, and forecast calls. Ensure the APAC zone operates with the same cadence and rigour as AMS and EMEA, consistent with the global Franchise Model. Manage time zone complexity across sub-regions (Japan/Korea, SEA, ANZ, India) and flag deviations from MOR standards to the VP GTM Ops and APAC Zone Sales Leader.
  • Lead the APAC end to end forecasting process. Manage the weekly forecast call with the APAC Zone Sales Leader and Sales Managers. Own SRC (Sales Review Cadence) preparation for the APAC zone — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full alignment with the global GSCS rhythm. Maintain rolling forecast visibility that enables the Zone Sales Leader to call the number with confidence.
  • Leverage APAC-specific dashboards and reporting with a Specialized Sales lens. Core metrics include New Logo vs. Expansion split, ARR and NRR performance, GRR, pipeline coverage by motion, and time-to-value indicators. Provide sub-regional breakdowns (ANZ, Japan, SEA, India, Korea, Greater China) and define and defend MXRM-specific metric definitions where they differ from GSCS corporate defaults.
  • Translate APAC GTM performance into Finance-ready outputs — revenue gap analysis, attainment bridges against plan, ARR/ACV variance reporting, and scenario modelling inputs for the APAC P&L. Act as the primary operational interface between the APAC Zone Sales Leader and Finance, handling multi-currency complexity across APAC markets (JPY, AUD, SGD, INR, KRW, CNY).
  • Ensure Salesforce (SFDC) data quality, opportunity management standards, and CPQ/quoting accuracy across the APAC sales team. Identify and resolve operational friction points — process gaps, tooling issues, or data inconsistencies — that slow pipeline velocity or distort reporting. Partner with the Global GTM Ops team to implement tooling improvements in the APAC zone.
  • Manage 1–2 GTM Ops Analysts / Coordinators dedicated to the APAC zone. Set clear priorities, build operational capacity, and coach the team to deliver high-quality insights and execution support as the zone scales. Contribute to a high-performance GTM Ops culture globally. This also means this is a hands-on leader role.
  • Serve as the APAC GTM Ops point of contact for larger Siemens org, Finance, Growth/Marketing, and Global GTM Ops. Ensure APAC-specific insights and operational learnings flow into global conversations and navigate partner-heavy GTM motions in markets where indirect channel is dominant (Japan, Korea, SEA). Translate global directives — process changes, new tooling, updated definitions — into effective APAC implementation.
  • Continuously refine APAC GTM processes, operational cadences, and reporting practices in line with the global GTM Ops framework. Feed validated improvements and playbook learnings back to the VP GTM Ops as inputs to the global replication framework.
Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM Operations in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Minimum 3 years in a regional or zone-level operations role, covering APAC (multi-country at minimum).
  • Proven track record of owning forecasting cadences and pipeline reporting for a substantial revenue organization ($50M+ ARR or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience bridging Sales and Finance — translating pipeline data and attainment into P&L-relevant narratives for senior leadership.
  • Proficient in Salesforce (SFDC) — opportunity management, pipeline reporting, and data hygiene at scale.
  • Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills — financial modelling, scenario analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Working knowledge of CPQ or quoting tools in a SaaS sales context.
  • Strong communicator — able to present operational insights clearly and concisely to Zone Sales Leaders, Finance partners, and global GTM leadership.
  • Player-coach mentality: comfortable being hands-on on analysis and execution while developing and mentoring junior analyst talent.
  • Comfortable working across multiple timezones and culturally diverse teams spanning ANZ, Japan, SEA, India, and Korea.
  • Experience operating within a matrixed organisation with multiple reporting lines and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Specialized Sales or horizontal GTM motions (Mid-Market, SMB, product-led or free trial funnels).
  • Exposure to ARR, NRR, and GRR metric frameworks in a land-and-expand commercial model.
  • Experience working in or with a global ops function where zone-level insights feed into an enterprise-wide reporting framework.
  • Understanding of APAC-specific GTM dynamics: partner/indirect channel reliance in Japan and Korea, emerging market growth in SEA and India, and regulatory considerations in Greater China.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Why This Role Is Needed:
APAC is an operationally complex MXRM zone — six sub-regions, multiple currencies, partner-heavy markets, and a wide time zones. This role ensures APAC executes with the same rigour as the other zones and protects the Zone Sales Leader's ability to call the number with confidence.
