You'll make an impact by

• You support the setup, operation, and evaluation of measurements within our programmable industrial edge network
• Building on this, you assist in enhancing existing Python-based applications, such as our Network Controller, to ensure efficient network operations
• Additionally, you contribute to the development and improvement of automation tools using Ansible, streamlining research and operational workflows
• To further advance our projects, you help design, execute, and document research experiments in close collaboration with the team
• Finally, you contribute to the preparation of research papers by analyzing data, creating figures, and supporting the writing and presentation of results

This is how you'll win us over

• Education: You are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience and Skills:
  • You have basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • You possess a fundamental understanding of networking concepts
  • You are proficient in Python programming and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Bash, Rust, P4, or C or familiarity with Ansible, eBPF, or DPDK is beneficial
    
• Ways of Working: You are able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Languages: You have very good English language skills
