What are my responsibilities?
• Contribute to end-to-end software development of a failsafe runtime platform within an industrial-edged environment, including design, implementation, documentation, and testing
• Develop and maintain C++-based runtime components with focus on robustness, reliability, and performance
• Support the implementation of container-based applications running on edge infrastructure
• Contribute to system and software architecture, requirements engineering, and technical design discussions
• Work as part of an Agile development team to deliver high-quality and maintainable software
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with functional and non-functional requirements
• Follow established development processes, coding standards, testing strategies, and CI/CD practices
• Support analysis and resolution of software defects and system-level issues, including performance and communication aspects
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and team efficiency
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• BSc., MSc., or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong programming skills in C++
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles
• Good knowledge of multi-threading and concurrency, Inter-process communication, Data structures and algorithms
• Experience in Linux-based development environments
• Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker)
• Understanding of distributed systems or microservice-based architectures is an advantage
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash) are a plus
• Knowledge of real-time or safety-critical systems is an asset
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Very good command of English
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• No restriction for travelling abroad
