Transform the everyday with us!

As an intern with the Electrification and Automation (EA) division of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting power distribution systems that keep the world running today, while also being exposed to our Future Grids technologies that are shaping the power systems of tomorrow - all within a collaborative, impact-driven environment.

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Financial Analyst Internship beginning in May or June 2026. This program is based in Wendell, NC.

You’ll make an impact by:
  • Supporting the Finance organization through process mapping, documentation, and improvement initiatives
  • Assisting with process updates and standardization across multiple finance teams
  • Contributing to automation and AI-related initiatives within finance processes
  • Developing and updating process documentation, including signing authority materials
  • Supporting the automation of recurring financial reports
  • Collaborating with finance team members to analyze and improve existing workflows

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026.
  • Strong time management, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 12-week summer internship, reporting in-office 3-4 times per week.
  • Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to SAP, particularly within finance or accounting-related processes
  • Exposure to Salesforce or similar enterprise systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel for data analysis or reporting

You’ll Benefit From
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour for first time Interns or $25.50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
