Our Production Machines for Factory Automation (PMA) Business Segment supports our global customers with solutions and services to increase the flexibility, productivity and efficiency of their machines.
The global demand for plastic products has increased rapidly in recent years and with it the need for efficient and sustainable solutions for the plastics machinery and industry. With our automation and digitalization technology, we develop solutions that protect our planet.      
We need bright minds whose skills and creativity enable the machine building industry to bring complex applications and technologies to market quickly and competitively with our current and future products and solutions.
Join our Global Business Development Team in Prague / Czech Republic and help us developing high-end solutions for machine builders in the Plastics Industry.

Your Tasks will be:

As a Global Business Developer, you are responsible for assigned machine builder accounts in the plastics industry and their sustainable development and exploitation:
  • Drive strategic business with global Large OEM accounts, co-creating innovative solutions and coordinating complex stakeholder networks internally and externally.
  • Define the business strategy for the Plastics Industry segment and translate market needs into clear strategic actions.
  • Analyze business and market performance and develop targeted measures to support growth and competitiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance based on your expertise in automation, motion control, drive technology, and digitalization, ensuring smooth coordination of customer projects from the HQ perspective.
  • Identify industry and technology trends in plastics processing (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, thermoforming) and derive requirements for improving our solutions.
  • Coordinate international activities by collaborating closely with global sales teams to ensure harmonized customer engagement.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for assigned customers, and prepare executive summaries to support top management decision-making.
  • Support segment‑specific marketing with technical and market knowledge to strengthen our overall market positioning.
  • Monitor global competitors and regulations and convert market insights into actionable input for portfolio development.

What we will appreciate from you:
  • You have completed a master's or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or similar, with content in the field of drives and/or motion control technology.
  • You are highly motivated and have an excellent understanding of Industrial Automation, ideally in the field of plastics machines, with solid experience in Sales/Promotion/Business Development for OEMs and Solution Business.
  • Familiarity with CRM and data driven sales tools. 
  • You are passionate and prepared to manage issues related to technological innovation and digitalization.
  • You have passion for exploring the new and unknown, questioning our routines and rethink the existing. Driving things forward and taking things into your own hands is just the way you work.
  • You value customer engagement and enjoy working in a global and multicultural setup.
  • You are able to quickly buildup networks and work effectively across businesses and functions.
  • You enjoy travelling for business trips (fairs, internal events, customer visits, etc.).´
  • You must be able to communicate fluently in English. German is a strong advantage.
