Do you love digging into the guts of a product and figuring out how to make it rock-solid secure? We're looking for a Product & Solution Security Professional who thrives on getting their hands on physical products and ensuring their safety from every angle!

Join us in Odense as we shape the future of fire protection, safeguarding people and property with our cutting-edge fire safety systems. With Siemens' recent acquisition of Danfoss Fire Safety, you'll be stepping into an exciting, growing organization where you can truly make a significant impact.

This is a brand-new role, which means you'll have a huge say in how we tackle product security. We're not just talking about software here – we're talking about the tangible, physical products that protect lives. You'll be instrumental in securing our next-generation fire safety systems, ensuring they're robust against threats, from the product to the cloud.

Your Main Responsibilities (Where You'll Get Your Hands Dirty!):
  • Dive into Product Architecture: You'll be a key player in designing our fire safety systems, making sure security is built-in from the ground up, considering both the digital and mechanical components.

  • Real-World Risk Assessments: Conduct hands-on risk assessments, applying industry best practices to understand vulnerabilities in our physical products and their interconnected systems.

  • Support Development Teams: Work closely with our development teams, guiding them through security activities as they build and iterate on our products.

  • Measure and Improve: Evaluate the effectiveness of our security measures, constantly looking for ways to strengthen our products based on real-world threat analysis.

  • Share Your Curiosity: You're a natural learner, and you'll share that curiosity, mentoring others and growing your own expertise in a collaborative environment.

  • Global Collaboration: Proactively team up with colleagues worldwide, pushing our solutions to the absolute cutting edge of technology and security.

What We're Looking For (Your Curiosity and Drive Matter Most!):

We believe that a passion for understanding how things work, combined with a keen eye for security, is what truly makes a difference. While some technical background is helpful, we're especially interested in your drive to learn and explore!

  • A relevant academic background within Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience that shows your knack for problem-solving!

  • Experience with cybersecurity standards (bonus points if you've dabbled with the IEC 62443 standards family).

  • An understanding of network technologies, components, and protocols (the more you know about how things connect, the better!).

  • Experience with hands-on embedded systems security but not necessarily programming skills.

  • Most importantly: and insatiable curiosity and a burning desire to learn and explore, which we value as much as years of formal experience!
