We are looking for Senior Software Engineer – Vehicle control

You’ll make a difference by

As a Senior Software Engineer – Vehicle control, you will be responsible developing control software for our innovative rail vehicles. Your task, and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Definition of system requirements and system interface specifications for automatic train control.
  • Integrate train control systems into our vehicles and thus actively shape the market success of our product platforms.
  • Together with our suppliers, you will develop complex solutions both for the new and further development of Vehicles specially Metros and trains.
  • Define the integration of various sub systems into the vehicle, translating legal regulations, standards, customer, and market requirements into vehicle functions and always keeping an eye on costs and deadlines.
  • Analyze the requirements, structure them, and create complex control and circuit concepts.
  • Generating software test specifications, conduct code review and support in design verification.
  • You should support in integration tests and validation tests.
  • You will additionally work as software developer vehicle control
  • You clarify the interfaces between the train control system and the vehicle and implement them with hardware and software.

Desired Skills:

  • We are looking for candidates having bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, electronic or computer science with 8+ years of relevant rolling stock experience.
  • You also have in-depth knowledge of the integration of ATS systems and/or national train control systems, which you have acquired during your many years of experience in development.
  • Domain knowledge of locomotive/ train control, testing, and commissioning.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Engineering (Design) in TCMS
  • Basic knowledge of requirement engineering is prerequisite.
  • Good communication and presentation skills complete your profile.
  • You should demonstrate strong teamwork and be able to guide peers to bring out required results
