The Siemens manufacturing site in Fort Worth, Texas has an immediate opening for an Environmental, Health and Safety Professional for 2nd Shift with training experience. The hours for this shift will be 3:30pm – 12:30pm. The successful candidate will support a wide range of EHS responsibilities, including but not limited to those noted below. Here you will work in a modern, dynamic factory environment, where we increasingly rely on artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize production processes and drive innovation.

You will make an impact by:

  • Leadership Presence on 2nd Shift: Act as the primary EHS representative during 2nd shift, ensuring consistent application of company safety and environmental policies.
  • Compliance Oversight: Monitor operations to maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Incident Management: Lead response, investigation, and root cause analysis of incidents, near misses, or environmental releases occurring during shift; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Training & Engagement: Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific training for 2nd shift employees. Coach supervisors and frontline to promote safe work practices.
  • Audits & Inspections: Perform regular audits, safety walks, and environmental checks to proactively identify hazards and drive improvements.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed EHS documentation and submit reports, metrics, and updates to site leadership and corporate EHS teams.
  • Program Support: Champion programs such as Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, Emergency Preparedness, PPE compliance, and Waste Management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Partner with operations leadership to identify and implement safety and environmental improvements, leveraging data and trends from shift operations.
  • Emergency Response: Support emergency preparedness and response activities.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree or certifications preferred).
  • 5 to 7 years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in the use of data management and analysis software tools
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, state regulatory standards, ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, NFPA, EPA and local regulations and reporting
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
  • Proficient computer skills including Outlook and MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills across all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to influence and gain buy-in from employees and supervisors.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal direct supervision on 2nd shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Desirable CSP / OSHA certification.

The pay range for this position is $66,973 - $114,811 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
