Hello Visionary!

We know that the only way a business thrive is if our people are growing. That’s why we always put our people first. Our global, diverse team would be happy to support you and challenge you to grow in new ways. Who knows where our shared journey will take you?

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner – Tridium Niagara Framework Specialist for a highly experienced and dynamic individual to lead one of our key development teams, focusing on delivering innovative Siemens solutions built upon the powerful Niagara ecosystem.

This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional, not a junior position. We need someone who can effectively translate product strategy into actionable development tasks, guide a talented team of software and test engineers, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions. Your profound understanding of the Niagara Framework will be essential in shaping our product backlog and guiding the team towards technical excellence and market relevance.

What You'll Do:

• Agile Leadership: Lead, mentor, and empower a cross-functional Agile development team, comprising both software and test engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

• Backlog Ownership: Own and meticulously manage the team backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, transparent, and aligned with the overarching product vision and strategic goals.

• Strategic Planning: Facilitate and actively participate in crucial Agile ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) Planning and Sprint Planning, ensuring clear objectives, realistic commitments, and effective execution.

• Requirements Definition: Act as the primary interface with Product Managers, deeply understanding business requirements, market needs, and customer feedback, then translating these into clear, concise, and actionable features and acceptance criteria for the development team

• CCI/CD Oversight: Monitor and control the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring smooth build, testing, and delivery processes, and proactively identifying areas for improvement in our continuous integration and deployment strategies.

• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key communication bridge between the development team and various stakeholders, ensuring transparency, managing expectations, and providing regular updates on progress and challenges.

• Product Evolution: Continuously analyze product performance, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation within the Niagara Framework context.

What You'll Bring (Required Skills & Experience):

• Proven Product Ownership: A minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable professional experience in a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar Agile leadership role, successfully leading software development teams. Holding a B.E./ B.Tech / M.Sc. / MCA in Computer Science / Information Technology.

• Niagara Framework Expert: Deep and proven expertise with the Tridium Niagara Framework is absolutely essential. You should be highly knowledgeable about its architecture, capabilities, programming models, and how to leverage it for complex solutions.

• Agile Mastery: Expert-level understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, etc.), with a strong track record of facilitating ceremonies and driving continuous improvement.

• Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and guide cross-functional development teams, including both software and test engineers, to achieve ambitious goals.

• Backlog Management: Proficiency in backlog management techniques, user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and effective prioritization strategies.

• Requirements Elicitation: Strong experience in gathering, analyzing, and translating complex business and technical requirements into clear, actionable development tasks.

CI/CD Familiarity: Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools, with practical experience in monitoring and understanding build and delivery pipelines.

.

Soft Skills (The 'Extra Spark' We're Looking For):

• Beyond the technical and Agile expertise, we highly value Product Owners who possess:

• Exceptional Communication & Negotiation: The ability to articulate product vision, requirements, and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, and skillfully negotiate priorities and scope.

Strategic Thinker: A knack for connecting day-to-day development activities to broader business objectives and long-term product strategy.

• Decisive & Accountable: Strong decision-making skills, with the courage to make tough calls and take ownership of product outcomes.

• Empathetic Leader: A genuine interest in understanding team challenges and fostering an environment where engineers feel supported, motivated, and empowered.

• Problem-Solver & Innovator: A proactive approach to identifying potential roadblocks and creatively finding solutions, always looking for ways to enhance the product and process.

• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build strong relationships with Product Managers, engineering leads, and other stakeholders, balancing their needs and expectations.

• Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus and guiding the team effectively.
