Global Finance Board team is seeking a new colleague in Prague! 


Are you ready to revolutionize financial reporting on a global scale? Join Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) and become a key player in shaping the future of finance with our cutting-edge Global Finance Board (GFB) platform!

The GFB is our "one-stop shop" for financial intelligence, providing a real-time, comprehensive view of Siemens' global financial landscape. As part of our dynamic team in Prague, you'll collaborate with technical experts across Europe and directly engage with HQ stakeholders to drive innovation and empower informed decision-making for both finance and non-finance teams.



Your Impact & Mission Will Be To:

  • Drive Platform Excellence: Take responsibility for the continuous operation of our Siemens Financial Reporting Platform (covering P&L actuals, forecasts, and budgets), ensuring impeccable data integrity, accuracy, and synchronization.
  • Innovate & Enhance: Proactively identify and implement development opportunities for enhanced customer solutions and platform improvements. Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications, championing AI-driven enhancements.
  • Lead & Deliver: Oversee project and feature delivery from conception to go-live, managing scope, timelines, and budgets. Lead ad hoc project management and data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic Partnership: Build strong, trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders, including HQ, customers, and regional commercial teams. Effectively present results and value to top management. Guide new customer onboarding for smooth adoption and expand our customer base.


What You Bring:

We're looking for a proactive, analytical, and collaborative individual who is passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex financial challenges.

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in Finance Operations, ideally in Controlling, with strong analytical skills and process understanding.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong experience with SAP FI/CO and data mining/BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik).Practical SQL knowledge (reading/writing) or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Agile Mindset: Proven ability to multitask in a fast-changing environment, with high energy, analytical thinking, and project management ability (Agile delivery best-practices, Continuous Integration/Delivery, DevOps/SCRUM).
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills in English (German language is an advantage) with a talent for building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic & Ethical: Strong strategic judgment, business competence, and professional ethics.
  • Tools: Very good MS Office knowledge, with mandatory experience in Excel.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience within a GBS organization.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Siemens data cloud strategies for large companies (data as a product).
  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller.
