We are looking for IT professionals who want to drive the increase of business value by partnering with the business. As an IT partner you should become familiar with the targets, strategy, challenges, and priorities of the business and provide guidance and support to implement digital innovations. You will work with the business on strategic and innovative initiatives and process improvements via technology. The focus will be on Finance, Sales and Service-related topics in the scope of the overall Lead to Cash process. Business scope is Digital Industries in the regional Zone Germany & EMEA. This role will be based in Prague, Czech Republic or Lisbon, Portugal. This position will report to the Digital Industries IT Partner organization Regional Zone Germany & EMEA. You will get the chance to work with an international team and on global topics.


Responsibilities: 

  • Drive innovation with technology and scout for opportunities to increase business value 
  • Understand business requirements from different DI stakeholders in data & AI 
  • Ensure that data activities in Germany & EMEA get well aligned with the global data strategy of Digital Industries  
  • Steer an IT Service in Finance Robotics which has been introduced in various European countries and incorporate AI capabilities 
  • Proactively recommend IT approaches to business opportunities and challenges 
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting stakeholder relationships with assigned partners  
  • Understand business environment, identify objectives, and manage the portfolio of demands, projects and services 
  • Steer the implementation of IT Roadmaps in close collaboration with the global, zone and local business organization 
  • Keep the management and employees informed on IT strategies, key priorities, initiatives and projects 
  • Align and share best practices with IT and Digital Industries IT organizations 


Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: 

  • Preferably a master’s degree in engineering/IT/Computer Science/Business Intelligence/Data Science. Others may be considered. 
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT (preferably in customer-facing IT role) 
  • Knowledge about Siemens Digital Industries Business setup and processes  
  • Program / Project management / Agile Methodology skills 
  • Data Analytics, Data Engineering and Data Architect skills 
  • Experience in requirement analysis, business case proposals and solution design 
  • Versed with emerging technology trends: AI/ML and Analytics, BI Frontend technologies, Data warehouse technologies (e.g. Snowflake). 
  • Should have handled at least 2 mid-size projects or/and 1 project in Digital technologies using agile project management methodology
