Siemens Xcelerator Academy Intern - Strategic Student Program

 
Based: Hybrid. Genova, Italy - Internship 6 months – Possibility of extension. 

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.    


Position Overview:

Siemens Digital Industries Software is looking for a working student to join our Siemens Xcelerator Academy Portfolio Team in Genova with the ability to work from home.

Responsibilities:          

We would value your support in:  
  • conducting market research, surveys and evaluations to improve the portfolio 
  • creating sales enablement materials like presentations, videos or newsletters 
  • creating marketing collaterals 
  • performing marketing campaigns  
  • creating engaging blog content and social media posts 
  • updating and maintaining webpages and online communities 
  • fostering internal & external partnerships to enhance program content and delivery 
  • using data and insights to create and improve programs or strategies 
  • analyzing campaigns/program performance to optimize outreach and engagement 
  • preparing regular reports detailing program performance and areas for improvement 
 
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:     

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in international business, Marketing, Media & Communication, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, in Italy. 
  • You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint. 
  • Your interpersonal and communication skills, in English, enable effective collaboration within the team.  You show proactivity and a creative personality. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in visual content creation. 
  • Experience with social media in the B2B sector. 
  • Some experience via internships or other practical activities. 

Additional Information:    

The Strategic Student Program is our formal internship program at Siemens Digital Industries Software globally. You will be mentored by experts and again invaluable professional experience. At Siemens, SSP interns get access to an international student network and community, career development opportunities with professional growth pathways, comprehensive practical training throughout the program, access to the Siemens Learning Hub and other training materials, and the opportunity to work on exciting projects within a global, diverse team.   

The Siemens Strategic Student Program (SSP) in Italy offers a full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (25 hours per week) paid internship. Based in Genova, Italy, the program follows a hybrid work model and runs for six months, starting from February.  To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled at an Italian university for the entire duration of the program, including both Italian and international students. Both curricular and extracurricular internships are accepted.
