Senior Global Mobility Tax Operations Consultant – Americas Region
As a Senior Tax Operations Consultant, you will play a key role in leading and optimizing processes related to international business travel, shadow payroll, tax payments, and compliance across the Americas region.
This position offers a unique opportunity to drive process improvements, regional alignment, and stakeholder collaboration in a global environment. You’ll act as a strategic partner, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery while mentoring team members and supporting automation initiatives.
What You’ll Do

Lead shadow payroll operations and ensure compliance across multiple countries in the Americas.

Oversee compensation data collection and delivery to external tax vendors.

Manage tax payment tracking, reconciliation, and audit documentation.

Conduct stakeholder analysis and contribute to the development of the regional service catalog.

Mentor and guide junior team members while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Utilize tools like Power BI and ServiceNow to manage, track, and report tax data.

Collaborate with internal partners (Global Mobility, Payroll, HR, Accounting, Corporate Tax) and external vendors (tax firms, payroll providers, relocation vendors) to resolve complex issues.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience in tax operations, payroll, or global mobility.

Strong expertise in international tax, shadow payroll, and foreign tax credit concepts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.).

Experience with U.S., Canadian, or Latin American payroll systems.

Advanced English and Spanish required; Portuguese or French is a plus.

Experience working with or for global mobility vendors is preferred.
