Siemens is looking for a Product Engineer for their Grand Prairie, TX location to assist and participate in the preparation of sketches, design layouts, and other specifications. This person will report to the Engineering Manager and have no direct reports. The hours for this position will be 12PM to 9PM.

You will make an impact by:

  • Provides support in designs to verify equipment performs in the intended manner.
  • Participates in maintaining detailed and comprehensive records of all cost saving ideas, custom designs, and basic improvements.
  • Provides support in documenting product issues for future reference and problem resolution.
  • Provides support to second shift production to resolve issues on switchboard and panelboard.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum BSEE or BSCS (Computer Science) or BSCE (Computer Engineering).
  • 2 years’ experience as a Product Engineer or recent college graduate will be considered.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, VBA.
  • Proficient with MS-Office applications.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Switchgear/Switchboards and PLC.
  • Working knowledge of C, C++, VBA,.NET, Tableau, Zuken.

The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
