Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
Plan and executes Bid activities with assigned Projects, products, and services to customers in specified industries Fiber, Marine, Oil & Gas to increase sales and achieve defined commercial targets.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Implements defined superior policies and guidelines, and defines and ensures implementation of function specific processes, procedures, methods and/or tools.
- Ensures the delivery of services on an operational level with respect to process adherence, service, Quality, and profitability.
- Implements workforce development measures.
- Region Pan India coverage, align with SE TI EAD strategy, especially for customers with Industry of Fiber, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical, Customer Service (CS), others.
- Dimension of Function: Support Sales in Achieving timely offer Submission, Technical support and assistance for Execution team.
- Achieve quality of Process related to Proposal with Business ethics and compliance.
- Focus and develop personal development, such as: leadership, team collaborator, consultative selling skill, communication skill, people orientation, get close exposure with HQ, etc..
- Understanding complete techno-commercial scope of supply, Technical Specifications, Performance Parameters, Limits of tender and Exclusions, List of sub-suppliers and support Proposal team for offer preparation as per project requirement for complete electrification system.
- Internal: Management, Sales, Operation Center, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics, Cross BUS
- External: End-customers, EPC, OEM, HQ, factories.
Experience
- Preferably has professional experience in project business and service at relevant Industry Application market (especially Fiber Industry, Oil & Gas, Marine) for more than 15+ years, has organizational/business cycle experience and leadership skill with a proven good track record, has. good working experiences and cross functions in international company.
- Knowledge on LV and HT System, Siemens Drives and Automation, LV Motors Dimensioning for Special Application and Machine lines, PCS 7 Based process control System.
- Industry Specific Knowledge on Fiber (Paper Machine Sectional Drives and Rewinders application) Biofuels, Marine Solution will be added advantage.
- To participate in customer meetings for technical discussion on scope of supply during order finalization
- To support the SCM (Supply Chain Manger) in preparing the enquiries to vendors for VFD and Automation panels
- To support the SCM in technical evaluation of vendor offers for panels or brought out items
- To make the proposal for projects involving Electricals, motors, VFDs and Automation and prepare the techno-commercial offer
- To estimate the manday requirement for engineering (hardware and software) and commissioning activities depending on the complexity of the project
- To undergo technical training and learn new products/systems and to impart trainings to others
- To support and coordinate with the project management team, customers and vendors during project execution
- To maintain the documentation as per the ISO guidelines and Quality requirements
- To do the design calculation and selection for the entire solution involving transformer, VFD panels, automation and motors
- To do the engineering of VFDs, PLC, DCS as per Indian and international standards
- To generate hardware engineering drawings using e-plan, AutoCAD, etc
- To prepare the detailed BOQ Component selection for Bill of Material preparation
- To Design the automation scheme and architecture as per the requirement
- To develop the logic and prepare the PLC software in line with the customer design inputs and simulate the same in office
- To support the panel factories and vendors in resolving the queries during panel building
- To make standardization of various proposals & engineering processes / activities and develop new cost-effective solutions to achieve material cost productivity (MCP)
- To adhere to the highest safety standards and exhibit process-oriented approach in line with the quality guidelines
- Testing of the VFD and automation panels at factories
- To conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) or System Integration Test (SIT) at factories
- To make the as-built drawings after panel testing
- Back-office support to commissioning team of VFDs, PLC system and other supplied systems
- To conduct load trials of the plant for commercial production and demonstrate the guarantee parameters if any to the customer
- To impart the on-site training to customer
- To support the customers with on-site services or via remote commissioning during breakdown
- To ensure continual improvements for achieving excellence and customer satisfaction
Technical knowhow:
· In depth Knowledge of the VFDs and its technology including the selection of components
· Knowhow of Siemens make VFDs is a must (S120 / G120 / Master Drives / etc) with engineering and commissioning of the same
· know-how of Step-7 PLC based automation system is a must with software development and commissioning skills. Knowhow of PCS-7 (DCS) would be an advantage
· Know-how of WinCC (SCADA) with engineering as well as commissioning
Education, general background
· BE/BTech – Electrical/Electronics Engineering
· 15 years+ Experience in Industry Specific Domain (Fiber / BioFuels & Marine/OG)
