You’ll make a difference by:

• As an AI Developer at Siemens, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between raw data, advanced analytics, and production-ready Artificial Intelligence applications.
• You will leverage your strong foundation in data engineering to build robust, scalable data pipelines and your expertise in analytics to develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML models that drive tangible business value for our clients.
• You'll be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, transforming business challenges into technical specifications and ensuring the seamless operation of AI systems in commercial environments.

Your success is grounded in:

• Intermediate to expert level proficiency in Python (mandatory) and proficiency in SQL.  Strong hands-on experience with data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT pipeline development, data warehousing, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Big Data technologies or cloud-native data services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
• Solid understanding and working experience in the end-to-end Machine Learning/AI lifecycle, including MLOps practices like model versioning, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Proven experience taking analytical solutions and machine learning models to production in a commercial or large-scale environment.
• Strong background in analytics and statistical modeling, capable of designing experiments, interpreting results, and selecting appropriate machine learning or deep learning algorithms for a given problem.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS or AZURE preferred) for AI/ML and data services.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance data structures for analytical workloads.
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes or Singularity). (optional).
• Experience with advanced analytics/AI topics such as Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, or Generative AI.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Relevant experience of 3-5 years focusing on AI development, data engineering, and/or advanced analytics.
• Experience with data governance, security, and quality assurance in data pipelines is a strong asset.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API development for model serving. Experience with stream processing technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
• Knowledge of specialized AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Good understanding of front-end or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit) for prototyping and demonstration.
