Your mission will be…

  • Team Leadership, Support & Training
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of data analysts, PowerBI developers, and testers.
    • Foster a collaborative environment by answering team members’ questions and supporting them with architectural decisions and technical problem-solving.
    • Champion SCRUM methodology: facilitate sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
    • Train new joiners across all technical platforms (Snowflake, DBT Cloud, PowerBI, ServiceNow, Jira, API integrations, etc.), ensuring smooth onboarding and knowledge transfer.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Oversee backend development using Snowflake and DBT Cloud.
    • Oversee frontend reporting in PowerBI.
    • Drive API development for system integrations.
    • Manage CI/CD pipelines and GitLab workflows.
    • Own and evolve the end‑to‑end data architecture across ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption layers.
    • Define and enforce data modeling standards (e.g. dimensional, semantic, and analytical models) across Snowflake and DBT Cloud.
    • Make architectural decisions balancing performance, cost, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Reporting & Data Integration
    • Ensure seamless integration of data from:
      • SAP via Snowflakec.
      • Contract Management and other internal tools.
      • Mendix.
      • Other internal sources
    • Support reporting on:
      • Cash Collection.
      • Credit Management.
      • Customer Segmentation.
      • Order Management.
      • Cashflow Forecasting.
      • Headcount.
      • Whitespot Analysis.
  • Agile Delivery & Governance
    • Manage demand intake via ServiceNow and story tracking via Jira.
    • Ensure traceability, documentation, and release management  across environments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with service owners, demand managers, and business stakeholders.
    • Support benchmarking and anomaly detection initiatives.

 

We are looking for someone with...

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in DevOps leadership within analytics or reporting environments.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT Cloud, PowerBI, and API development.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience managing distributed teams and delivering across multiple legal entities.
  • Deep understanding of SCRUM and agile delivery practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support a technical team, including architectural guidance, hands-on problem-solving, and training new joiners.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and a mindset of continual learning and improvement.
  • Strong experience designing and owning modern analytics data architectures in cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, lineage, and documentation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into robust, scalable data architecture solutions.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
