Job Profile/Position Overview –

As a Presales Solution Consultant Industry Lead in the Industry Strategy team, your responsibility is to drive the development of high quality, value driven solutions, presentations, and messaging to support the prescriptive process of the buyer’s journey.

You’ll work with Technical Marketing and the Digital Thread Factory to leverage standard collateral into industry-specific messaging that resonates with the unique challenges in Semiconductor Devices. Then you’ll work with technical presales consultants to guide the development of clear, concise demonstrations that prove the value our solutions bring to the customer. You won’t be just building content in the background; you will be one of the “first responders” explaining to customers our vision of how Siemens Xcelerator can transform their business.

  • Work with Technical Marketing to “industrialize” standard collateral and messaging that resonates with our Semiconductor Device customers.
  • Understand and stay current on industry challenges in Electronics, so our messaging remains relevant and current
  • Explain our vision and capabilities to customers at all levels, from engineering to executive.
  • Plan sales account strategy with orchestrators and presales to drive our strategic value selling process and WIN BUSINESS

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Maintain excellent knowledge of customer and Industry challenges and trends
  • Work with Technical Marketing to define messaging, value propositions, and solution capabilities that demonstrate and prove Siemen Xcelerator value to Semiconductor Device customers. Ensure that our messaging resonates with the unique challenges of the electronics industry
  • Establish and build a trusted advisor and credible business and technical consultant relationship with clients and sales executives
  • Support account orchestrators and pre-sales resources in defining and executing on sales opportunities
  • Oversee and guide the client in the selection of appropriate solutions and suites of technology
  • Understand industry needs and gather product enhancement requests. Work with software development to define and validate new features
  • Work with technical marketing to prepare industry-specific webinars and publications
  • Work with technical marketing to define and create Siemens Xcelerator Experience Centers
  • As Siemens acquires and develops new software capabilities, understand the customer value, assist in developing the sales strategy, and educate the sales team on how to pursue opportunities

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-10 years working with Product Lifecyle Management systems (Teamcenter preferred)
  • 5-10 years experience in the Semiconductor Device industry
  • Excellent verbal presentation and written communications skill
  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently on multiple customer and content development project

The pay range for this position is $146,700 - $293,400 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
