As part of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport (SMWSA) project, we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the Rail Systems Construction Lead with the coordination and delivery of Rail Systems across the project alignment. This full‑time, on‑site role will see you leading the planning, execution and integration of complex rail systems, ensuring safe, efficient and customer‑focused project outcomes.

In this role you will:

• Support the Installation & Commissioning Manager across all electrical installation and commissioning activities for your assigned section of the project.
• Lead HV, MV and LV installation work packages, including supervising junior engineers, trades and specialist subcontractors.
• Oversee construction interfaces and manage handover processes between Civil and Siemens Rail Systems teams within the SMWSA consortium.
• Prepare installation documentation (work packs), drive 12‑week and 4‑week look‑ahead schedules, and ensure compliance with configuration and change‑management processes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary site teams (planning, design, logistics, quality, and EHS), ensuring standards, safety and delivery performance are met.

• Valid RIW card, White Card and driver’s licence, with flexibility for weekend or night shift work when required.
