Working Student (f/m/d) - Industrial Networks and Wireless
Mode of Employment: Fixed Term / Part-Time
We are part of Siemens Foundational Technology, which is the central research at Siemens. In our research group "Industrial Networks and Wireless" (INW), we drive innovation in industrial communication and its application to industrial use cases. Join our team to explore cutting-edge 5G/6G technologies and robotics for next-generation manufacturing.
You'll make an impact by
- Hands-on work with 5G/6G systems and prototypes
- Support in robot and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) control tasks
- Contribute to develop a Multi-Layer Digital Twin for industrial manufacturing PoC
- Assist in integration and testing of communication and control component prototypes
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
- Experience and Skills:
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Basic understanding of 5G technologies (e.g. O-RAN RIC, etc.)
- Programming skills in C/C++ and Python
- Ways of Working: Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team
- Languages: Fluent in English (German is a plus)
