In this role, you will plan and perform a wide range of application engineering tasks in delivering Railway Signalling interlocking and track-side application in signalling projects under limited supervision of a Senior/Principal Signal Design Engineer or Work Package Manager in the project.

You will:

• Design Scheme Plans with minimal supervision and guidance using the signaling arrangement plans as an input.
• Design Interlocking data for less complex sites under the supervision of a Principal Design Engineer.
• Perform headway calculations and determine signal spacing for simple layouts under the guidance of a Principal Engineer.
• Perform Control Table design of less complex sites under mentor-ship of a Principal Engineer
• Prepare preliminary concept designs for tenders under the guidance of Principal Design Engineers including scheme plans and location case.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds.

• You are an experienced rail signalling designer and have worked for Australian / NZ rail projects.
• You have a degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related disciplines, or equivalent years of experience.
• RPEQ and QR competencies are higly desired.
