Siemens is seeking a Senior Event Marketing Manager to own the strategy and execution of our industry conference, customer event and roadshows within the Automation business. This role is accountable for delivering high-impact, measurable event programs that directly drive pipeline, revenue, customer engagement, and brand presence.
This is a senior individual contributor role with strong autonomy and visibility, reporting to the Head of Automation Field Marketing and partnering closely with Field Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional stakeholders.
We are looking for a Senior Event Marketing Manager, and this position will be located remotely within the United States.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Own the event strategy and portfolio across key industries, aligning investments to GTM priorities, target audiences, and revenue goals.
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, user events, and roadshows.
- Serve as the primary decision-maker for event execution, budgets, timelines, and vendor strategy.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Sales, Product, Creative, and Operations.
- Own onsite execution for priority events and drive continuous improvement through post-event analysis.
- Oversee exhibit properties and vendors, ensuring brand consistency and operational excellence.
Lead Capture, Data & Revenue Measurement
- Own the end-to-end lead capture and engagement data strategy, ensuring all event touchpoints—badge scans, session attendance, demos, meetings, and experiential activations—are captured accurately and tied directly to campaigns.
- Ensure all interactions are uploaded to the CRM in real time, tagged for proper attribution, and aligned with pipeline and revenue tracking goals.
- Partner closely with Marketing Operations and Sales to define lead scoring, routing, and campaign alignment, ensuring the highest quality handoff to Sales for follow-up.
- Translate engagement data into actionable insights that drive revenue, optimize campaign performance, and inform future event strategy and investment decisions.
- Track, analyze, and report on event-generated pipeline, MQLs, SALs, conversion rates, and overall ROI to ensure events contribute measurably to business outcomes.
- Continuously optimize processes and tools to improve data quality, sales follow-up effectiveness, and measurable impact on revenue.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience leading B2B marketing events, ideally in industrial tech, manufacturing, or complex technology environments.
- 10+ years of experience with ownership of large-scale, multi-day events (trade shows, user conferences, executive events) with measurable results.
- 10+ years of experience with a demand-generation mindset, with a track record of translating events into pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- 10+ years of experience managing event budgets ($50K–$300K+) with clear accountability for ROI.
- 10+ years of experience with expertise in event operations, vendor management, and exhibit execution.
- Ability and willingness to travel ~30%.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

- Ability to lead through influence across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, judgement, and problem-solving skills.

- The pay range for this position is $114,383-$196,085 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

The pay range for this position is $114,383 - $196,085 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
