Today, we are recruiting for a EHS Manager (Signaling/Communications) to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Setting-up the HSE System for ML (SIG&COM) in accordance with standards defined by the overall EHS Manager (TK) and integrate it within the Consortium Joint Venture.
- Implementing and monitoring the EHS E&S Management System.
- Supporting SMO & Consortium EHS Manager and assume duties as required.
- Following the SMO &Consortium EHS Strategy and setting priorities for the EHS coverage on assigned line sections.
- Supporting and coordinating the EHS Coverage for ML Scope (SIG&COM) as well as coordinating the supervision of the installation performed by CJV for ML Scope (SIG&COM).
- Coordinating the HSE requirements at ML, SMO and Consortium Level.
- Consulting with the Overall EHS Manager, PM and Consortium partners on site-specific related EHS and concerns.
- Managing the EHS Team for ML (SIG&COM) in assigned areas and oversee the EHS system implementation within the project.
- Implementing, monitoring and reviewing the implementation of the EHS system.
- Liaising with consultants regarding the ML-related EHS topics from lenders.
- Ensuring compliance with EHS IFC requirements.
- Managing and overseeing the Line Project Team as required.
- Mentoring all ML-related Project EHS and CJV personnel.
- Developing and enhancing current EHS personnel skills as part of a supersession foundation.
- Maintaining a strong presence on-site and in the field to foster a strong safety culture within SMO and our consortium partner CVJ.
- Coordinating and managing potential future EHS engineers joining the ML (SIG&COM) team
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- At least 10 Years of Experience in a Senior Health and Safety Position
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a multinational Environment
- Postgraduate Diploma / Level 6 (UK) Equivalent (Masters – Occupational Health & Safety Management )
- Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent
- Advanced Diploma in Wastewater Treatment and Recycling or equivalent
- Diploma in ISO Standards - Integrated Management System (IMS) or equivalent
- ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management Systems (EMS) or equivalent
