As a Distribution Channel Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth exclusively through authorized distributors in Saudi Arabia. Your mission is to develop, enable, and govern the distributor ecosystem while ensuring strong market coverage, pipeline transparency, and consistent execution of Siemens DI strategy.

Your role – Strategic, Channel Driven, and Performance Oriented
In this role, you will own the distribution business model for the Siemens Digital Industries portfolio. You will act as the primary interface between Siemens and its distributors, ensuring capability development, compliance, and sustained performance—while supporting indirect engagement with end customers through the channel.

Key Responsibilities
Distributor Strategy & Governance
Own and execute the distribution channel strategy for Siemens Digital Industries in Saudi Arabia.
Manage the entire distributor lifecycle: selection, onboarding, development, performance management, and compliance.
Ensure distributors operate in full alignment with Siemens commercial, ethical, and branding standards.
Drive channel segmentation, coverage models, and vertical focus in line with DI priorities.
Business Growth & Performance Management
Deliver profitable sales growth exclusively through distributors for the full DI portfolio, including: 
o Industrial Automation & Control -PLC / DCS / HMI & SCADA
o Drives & Motion Control – Low Voltage Drives & Servo Drives 
o Industrial Communication & Networking – Wireless &Wired Networks
o Process Instrumentation – Field Instrumentation
o Basic Digital Enterprise Software ( Xcelerator Portfolio) & Industry 4.0 solutions positioning
o Industrial Services & Solutions & Service attachments ( Spares Part Contracts & Training Services)
Develop and agree annual business plans and targets (Order Intake, Revenue, Pipeline, Market Coverage) with each distributor.
Conduct structured Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and performance assessments.
Drive corrective actions where gaps exist to ensure target achievement.
Sales Enablement & Capability Development
Enable distributors through sales coaching, solution positioning, and opportunity qualification.
Support distributor sales teams in account planning and opportunity development, without direct ownership of end customers.
Ensure distributor readiness through product knowledge, application understanding, and system-level competence.
Promote Siemens Digital Enterprise and Industry 4.0 value propositions across distributor-led engagements.
Pipeline, Planning & Market Transparency
Establish and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline through distributors using SieSales (Sales Force).
Ensure high-quality forecasting, bottom-up planning, and market intelligence.
Coordinate with Sales Channels, Sales Acceleration, and Business Development to maximize distributor effectiveness.
Avoid channel conflict and ensure clear rules of engagement across indirect sales channels.
Continuous Improvement
Identify gaps in distributor performance, coverage, or capabilities and implement improvement plans.
Recommend enhancements to channel processes, tools, and working methods to improve efficiency and scalability.

Your qualifications – Commercial, Digital, and Channel Focused
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
(Preferred: Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation & Control)
Experience
Minimum 4+ years of experience in distribution or channel sales within Saudi Arabia.
Strong exposure to industrial automation and digitalization portfolios.
Proven success in managing distributors, not direct key accounts.
Solid understanding of the Saudi industrial market and channel ecosystem.
Skills & Competencies
Strong channel management and commercial negotiation skills
Ability to influence without direct authority
Data-driven approach to pipeline and performance management
Strong stakeholder management in a matrix organization
High ownership, accountability, and execution focus
Languages
Fluent in Arabic and English (mandatory)
