Cyber Security Professional - Service Now Expert (m/f/d)

You’ll make an impact by:
- Security Configuration: Implement and customize ServiceNow modules to fit operational needs.
- Automation & Integration: Develop REST/SOAP integrations with third-party tools like SIEMs (Splunk), EDR (CrowdStrike), JIRA or Confluence
- Workflow Development: Create automated workflows, playbooks, and tasks to streamline service request.
- Platform Maintenance: Configure UI policies, business rules, and client/server scripts to manage platform security.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop custom dashboards and Performance Analytics to track security metrics and KPIs.
- Compliance & Audit: Make strategic recommendations and actively participate in implementing new ServiceNow requirements related to the platform with a focus on security and compliance.
- Take ownership of complex platform and security-related business requirements and work towards their successful implementation.
- Provide architectural controls and conduct impact analysis for new platform related requirements.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improving processes and solutions, including the consolidation of similar security needs.
- Contribute to ServiceNow software releases by configuring features and functionality.
- Create and maintain a detailed view of the ServiceNow architecture.
- Align the ServiceNow platform’s capabilities with established business strategies.
- Assist with estimating release-level effort, ensuring all platform aspects are considered.
- Optimize the stability and usability of ServiceNow through regular application maintenance.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improving processes and solutions, including the consolidation of similar security needs.
- Have extensive experience in enterprise security and architecture, including knowledge of various authentication systems. Strong background in IT service management with an emphasis on security.
- Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow administration and demonstrated experience in developing ServiceNow applications.
- Collaborate with the team to implement technical best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to design and implement optimal solutions for technical challenges.
- Have ability to lead training initiatives, demonstrating a capacity to educate teams.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Experience & Skills
- Platform Knowledge:In-depth understanding of ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) and Security Operations applications.
- Security Expertise:Knowledge of security methodologies, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
- Certifications:ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Security Operations is a plus.
- ITILv4 is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or CRISC are a plus
- Solid knowledge in ISO270xx series as well as other security standards such as NIST, and IEC 62443 are a plus
- Ways of working: analytical, problem-solving attitude with strong decision-making and independent abilities and a growth mindset are a strong plus
- Language skills: business proficiency in English; German, Spanish or Portuguese are a plus
