Service Sales Specialist

Location: Lucknow


Job Purpose:

The Service Sales Specialist – Digital Industries is responsible for driving service order intake and recurring revenue growth for Siemens

Digital Industries in India. The role focuses on selling lifecycle service offerings across the Siemens installed base, including Annual

Maintenance Contracts (AMC), Spare parts, upgrades, retrofits, modernization, and digital services. The position plays a key role in

customer retention, asset lifecycle management, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned service order intake for Siemens Digital Industries in India
  • Promote Siemens DI service portfolio including AMC, spares, upgrades, modernization, retrofits, and digital services
  • Identify service opportunities from installed base of Siemens DI products such as PLC (S7-1500/400/300), PCS 7, TIA Portal, Drives (SINAMICS), Motors, HMI, SCADA, and Industrial Edge solutions
  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers in coordination with service execution and HO teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders including maintenance, engineering, projects, procurement, and plant management.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, service reviews, and value proposition discussions.
  • Identify obsolescence risks, lifecycle gaps, and modernization opportunities
  • Maintain accurate opportunity pipeline, forecasts, and account plans in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Support smooth handover from sales to service execution teams after order booking.
  • Ensure adherence to Siemens policies, compliance, EHS, and ethical standards
  • Track market trends, customer expectations, and competitor service offerings.
  • Provide periodic forecasts, pipeline reviews, and management reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation)
  • 5–10 years of experience in service sales, aftermarket sales, or industrial automation service business
  • Prior exposure to Siemens Digital Industries portfolio is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with industrial customers (process, automotive, FMCG, metals, cement, pharma, etc.)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong techno-commercial understanding of industrial automation and digital services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities independently
  • Effective utilization of CRM tools for planning and monitoring of customer visits, meetings, opportunities etc.
  • Willingness to travel across assigned region in India
