We are seeking a Tender Specialist Writer to join our team. This is a full-time, home-based position that comes with an attractive salary and benefits package. You will be part of a positive workplace culture that values collaboration, innovation, and mutual respect.

As a Tender Specialist Writer, you will work closely with our sales and account teams, supporting the creation of compelling bid responses and ensuring alignment with customer needs for the whole solution. You will play a key role in the tender process, helping to craft the messaging and evidence in readiness for tender release, as well as identifying gaps and proactively seeking information to support submissions. This role will require active engagement with various teams across the business to develop a wide-ranging understanding of our products, services, and processes.

This role could suit someone with a laboratory, sales or commercial background that understands clinical diagnostics, laboratory workflows and customer needs.

Your Role:

  • Become an expert in crafting high-quality, engaging tender content
  • Collaborate with core teams on active projects, participating in sales project calls to ensure full alignment on procurement scope, solutions, and messaging.
  • Effectively use tender project tools to manage and streamline the bid process.
  • Create, review, and edit responses for customer tenders, working closely with Subject Matter Experts to ensure all questions are fully addressed, aligned and key competitive advantages are highlighted.
  • Weave together all supplier’s responses for a seamless, holistic, engaging response.
  • Build relationships across various business functions to broaden your understanding of our offerings.
  • Identify gaps in our offering, evidence or knowledge and take ownership for resolution.
  • Help manage the database of compelling responses for continuous improvement.

Your Expertise:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in clinical diagnostics or laboratory settings is essential.
  • Experience in sales, commercial roles, and the tender response process is highly valued.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g., Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A positive team player who thrives in deadline-driven environments.
  • Ability to work autonomously when required.
