Siemens Global Business Services is looking for Financial Controller (f/m/d). This role involves a wide range of financial and accounting activities, payroll administration and strategic support in one of our businesses.  

You'll create impact by:

  • Verification of payroll and payroll correction files
  • Posting payroll, social security (ZUS), and PPE (Employee Pension Program) entries
  • Processing payroll and benefit payments (ZFŚS)
  • Managing vendor payments
  • Handling non-standard postings for suppliers (VAT refunds, CIT10Z)
  • Reviewing outstanding balances on employee accounts (Concur)
  • Preparing cost provisions, reclassifications, and accrual postings
  • Managing fixed assets (cost center changes, disposals)
  • Supporting audits and year-end closing activities
  • Collaborating on transfer pricing documentation with auditing company
  • Verification of new employees/cost centers for transfer pricing compliance
  • Working with SAP support for system changes and improvements
  • Approving CAPEX purchase requests
  • Archiving contracts, insurance policies, and maintaining records
  • Participating in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Preparing ICC re-invoicing files and verify postings
  • Coordinating with procurement and finance teams on purchase orders
  • Providing analysis and corrections for accounting discrepancies
 
Your defining qualities:
  • Academic degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent (Masters degree preferred)
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in corporate finance management
  • Relationship management skills, excellent communication skills
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in Business English
  • Excellent professional knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a critical mindset
  • High degree of self-initiative with the ability to learn, manage uncertainties and undertake new challenges
  • Experience in digitalization and innovation development
  • Familiarity with financial controlling concepts, terminology, systems, procedures, tools and practices
  • Ensuring timely and properly execution of process within given principles and finding ways to make things more efficient
  • Team player, working effectively with others on a common task in a personal or virtual environment
  • Understanding basic concepts behind a disciplined approach to problem solving, looking for data that help to identify and differentiate the symptoms and root causes of defined problems
  • Multitasking professional, independent in performing the role, able to work in a fast paced environment
