We are a company for what the world needs, today and in the future!

We develop technology for industries, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare, bridging the gap between the real and digital worlds. This empowers our customers to revolutionize their industries and markets, enhancing their competitiveness, resilience, and sustainability. For 176 years, we've been at the forefront of creating technologies that transform everyday life for everyone.

To reach our goals, we're looking for curious minds driven to make an impact! With a constant stream of projects, we need creative individuals who thrive on challenges.

Do you want to be part of the team? Come join us!

Join a growing Legal Hub in Siemens Portugal supporting international Siemens businesses and multiple jurisdictions. As part of this evolving structure, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape how legal services are delivered globally while working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

You will be dedicated to the Siemens Digital Industries Software (DI SW) business — a global leader in advanced digital solutions that drive innovation and efficiency for clients across industries. Siemens Software empowers organizations to optimize product research, design, simulation, manufacturing, and operational processes, supporting digital transformation and sustainable growth in today’s fast-moving market landscape. Our comprehensive portfolio enables customers to tackle complex challenges and achieve new levels of performance and productivity.

Our legal team is international, highly collaborative, and business-focused, with headquarters in the US and team members across the globe. We act as trusted partners, enabling the business through practical, solution-oriented legal support.

In this position, you will play a key role in providing legal support for the dynamic, global software business. As a member of the hub, you’ll work on commercial transactions across multiple regions, collaborate closely with legal colleagues in both EMEA and the USA, and deliver timely and effective support wherever it is most needed. The Hub’s flexible and responsive approach ensures that legal priorities are addressed efficiently, allowing you to adapt quickly and contribute to seamless global operations in a fast-paced environment.

Your mission will be…
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to review, draft, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements globally; and procurement contracts in EMEA to deliver responsive, business-oriented and pragmatic legal partnership.
  • Support the DI SW Legal counsels globally as needed on other commercial transactional requests, on a wide range of commercial matters as needed, particularly software license and cloud-services related transactions.
  • Drive efficiency and consistency in contracting by proactively advancing and standardizing digital tools, processes, and workflows. Identify pain points, implement best practices, and support the evolution and adoption of legal tech and contract management systems to maximize operational efficiency.

We are looking for someone with…

  • Fluency in written and spoken English (C2 level), including the ability to draft and negotiate contracts
  • At least 2 years’ experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in a law firm or in-house environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Flexibility, curiosity, and eagerness to learn in a dynamic international setting
  • High client-focus and ability to work effectively across cultures
  • Flexible to adjusting working hours to meet global business needs across multiple time zones

Nice to have

  • Additional European language skills (especially French, Spanish, German, or Italian)
  • Conversational Portuguese

The contract term is (initially) limited to 1 year (project-related).

What you can expect from us…
A hybrid and flexible working model to promote a better work-life balance, along with a budget for home office support and the opportunity to do 16 hours a year of volunteer work. A health insurance, access to our on-site medical center, plus the chance to join sports groups.

In addition, you'll have access to online learning platforms and discounts with our partners. A shuttle bus to commute to the facilities and the possibility of financial support to your studies.
