Location: This position will be based in Austin, Texas in the United States.

Position Overview

The Digital Service Center (DSC) is a cornerstone of strengthening Smart Infrastructure Buildings’ digital service business. It plays a key role in positioning software business, advancing sustainability initiatives, and driving growth in strategic vertical markets. With more than 600 professionals worldwide, the DSC serves as a global delivery backbone, enabling customers to operate comfortable, secure, efficient, and sustainable infrastructures.

The DSC focuses on innovative, data-driven services for the Smart Infrastructure Buildings market, including Monitoring & Remote Services, Analytics & Optimization Services, and AI-driven Software Services.

The Head of Digital Service Center Americas is a critical leadership role responsible for advancing digital services across the United States, Canada, and other countries within the Americas economic region.

In this role, you will lead the established DSC in the U.S., managing more than 200 employees across multiple locations, while driving strategic and operational development for the entire Americas region. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital service delivery and scale innovative solutions globally.

You will report directly to the Global Head of DSC Operations and serve as a key member of the global DSC leadership team. For Siemens businesses in the Americas region, you will be the primary point of contact for all DSC services.

As a Head of Digital Service Center Americas, you will make an impact by:

  • Team Leadership: Inspiring and leading distributed teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture across borders.
  • Operational Leadership: Overseeing day-to-day operations of the U.S.-based DSC and associated delivery teams in other countries.
  • Drive Productivity: Implementing efficiency improvements and leveraging synergies through continuous automation and the global DSC operating model.
  • Regional Strategy: Defining and executing strategies for the ongoing development of DSC capabilities across the Americas region, including assigned countries.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Working closely with global and local teams, partners, and senior leadership to design and implement future-oriented strategies.
  • Portfolio Expansion: Growing the delivery capabilities for digital services portfolio, with a strong focus on software-driven business and partner channel development.
  • Global Transformation: Actively contributing to global DSC transformation initiatives and ongoing change management processes.
  • Drive Profitable Growth: Develop, implement and continuously improve action plan to capitalize on market opportunities and improve customer satisfaction

Your success will be grounded in having these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in IT-driven service businesses or IoT/software environments
  • Senior-level experience in operational leadership of distributed teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong results orientation and implementation skills
  • Experience in international business settings and corporate matrix organizations
  • Proven ability to inspire teams, motivate and direct personnel toward achieving a common goal and drive organizational transformation
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 30% globally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in building technologies, smart infrastructure, or energy efficiency solutions
  • Track record of scaling service/IoT/software organizations and driving digital innovation.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven services, cloud platforms, and digital ecosystems
  • Strong background in change management and global transformation initiatives.

The pay range for this position is $188,000 - $322,000 annually with a target incentive of 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
