Are you a driven sales leader with a passion for developing high-performing teams and delivering sustainable growth? Join Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Buildings in Madrid as our Proximity Sales Team Lead Central.

Based in Madrid, you will lead the Central Spain sales team, driving profitable growth and expanding our market presence across the region. You will be responsible for defining and executing sales strategies while coaching and empowering a high-performing team to consistently exceed targets.

Within our Buildings division, we deliver innovative building automation, fire safety and energy management solutions that enable smart, safe and sustainable infrastructures. This is more than a sales role — it is a true leadership opportunity to shape strategy, develop talent and create measurable impact for our customers and our business.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead your team to achieve and exceed sales targets across the Siemens Buildings portfolio in Central Spain, expanding market share and customer base.
  • Implement targeted go-to-market approaches to maximize penetration across key segments and channels.
  • Coach, mentor and empower your sales team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Set clear objectives, track performance and ensure consistent overachievement of sales quotas.
  • Promote modern sales methodologies, digital tools and value-based selling, particularly in services and lifecycle solutions.
  • Build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, positioning Siemens as a trusted advisor.
  • Work closely with vertical markets, service, product and partner teams to ensure aligned market execution.
  • Monitor and report key metrics to optimize results and team effectiveness.
  • Maximize penetration and profitable growth of strategic customers within your region.

What you bring

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or team lead role, specifically within the building technology, smart infrastructure, or related industrial solutions sector.
  • Demonstrated success in driving profitable growth and consistently achieving or exceeding ambitious sales targets, even in complex and challenging market conditions within the building industry.
  • A genuine passion for developing people, with proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and motivating sales professionals to reach their full potential.
  • Strong ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies that translate into tangible results for building solutions.
  • Proven ability to adapt, innovate, and achieve success in dynamic and competitive environments.
  • Excellent understanding of sales processes, financial metrics, and how to contribute to overall business profitability, particularly within the building technology market.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, XaaS (Anything-as-a-Service) concepts, and the ability to drive the sale of service and software offerings related to building management and optimization.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).

  • Deep understanding of the Spanish market dynamics within the building technology sector.
  • Familiarity with specific Siemens Buildings portfolio elements, such as Desigo CC, Cerberus DMS, or Siveillance Suite.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Strong network within the Spanish building owner, developer, or facility management community.
