As the Vertical Sales Executive – Life Sciences (Security), you are responsible for driving growth of Siemens’ electronic security solutions across Life Sciences customers, including biotech, cell & gene therapy, and regulated R&D environments. You service as a trusted advisor to customers where protection of people, intellectual property, and critical assets are paramount. This role combines deep Life Sciences vertical expertise with specialized knowledge of security systems, enabling you to guide customers through complex regulatory, operational, and risk management considerations while delivering integrated Siemens solutions. 

As the Vertical Sales Executive – Life Sciences (Security), you will:

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of automation and digital opportunities within the Life Sciences vertical
  • Engage executive level stakeholders to address access control, monitoring, and asset protection needs
  • Translate regulatory, IP protection, and operational requirements into scalable security solutions 
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to close 
  • Collaborate with vertical sales leaders, operations, and delivery teams to execute complex programs 
  • Position Siemens as a long term strategic partner for Life Sciences security strategies 
  • Leverage digital tools and AI enabled sales processes to improve productivity and win rates 

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience selling electronic security, low voltage, or integrated security systems 
  • Demonstrated success selling complex solutions to regulated or high security environments 
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to lead consultative discovery and solutions workshops
  • Capability to travel 50%+ within the United States to support sales needs 
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling security solutions in Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotech facilities 
  • Knowledge of access control, video management, and integrated security platforms

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually plus an uncapped commission structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
