Job Description - Compliance Professional

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Zone Compliance Officer in fostering a strong culture of compliance, ethics and business integrity across Group Companies, through innovative, engaging and effective training and awareness programs for employees, business partners and vendors.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes, including APACMed, UCMDMP, Indian PCA, US FCPA and UK Bribery Act and ensure consistent and practical application within business processes.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing and other cross‑functional teams to review, guide and approve compliance workflows related to HCP/HCO interactions such as Sponsorships, Educational Grants, Clinical Collaborations and similar engagements, ensuring accurate documentation, timely approvals and transparent reporting in compliance tools and to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop a sound understanding of business operations and commercial realities to provide pragmatic, risk‑based business‑enabling compliance advice, especially in complex situations.
  • Pro-actively conduct compliance risk assessments to identify gaps, emerging risks and improvement opportunities and ensure effective mitigation through structured monitoring and follow‑up.
  • Manage the day‑to‑day operations of compliance processes, systems and tools, performing periodic reviews to enhance effectiveness and user experience.
  • Uphold and promote consistently high standards of ethics, integrity and professional conduct, acting as a trusted advisor and role model for ethical decision‑making.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required in a dynamic and evolving regulatory and business environment.

  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduate with 7+ years of total work experience, including at least 5 years in a Compliance role within a large multinational organization, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance concepts clearly, confidently, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships across functions, levels, and geographies.
  • Demonstrated capability to analyse complex data, identify trends and risks, and translate insights into actionable compliance solutions.
  • High standards of personal ethics, integrity, and professional judgment, with the confidence to challenge constructively while remaining solution‑oriented.
  • Strong learning mindset, adaptability, and comfort operating in an ever‑evolving regulatory and business landscape to continuously improve and innovate within the compliance framework.
  • Proficiency or working knowledge of MS Sway, MS Teams, Power BI and similar digital tools will be an added advantage.
