Position Overview:

As a Senior Buyer, you will ensure cost-effective, demand-driven material supply and support project delivery. Manage procurement for mechanical and electrical components, and negotiate sourcing contracts aligned with business and customer needs.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead supplier development initiatives focused on cost, quality, delivery performance, innovation, and risk mitigation
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Project Management to align sourcing strategies with technical and timeline needs
• Prepare and conduct negotiations to secure competitive pricing, payment terms, and service levels
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and contractual obligations and initiate corrective actions as needed
• Organize structured RFQ and inquiry processes and maintain effective supplier communication
• Maintain accurate supplier master data and procurement documentation in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Support product and project development initiatives, including standardization and harmonization efforts
• Manage delivery schedules and resolve delays, quality issues, discrepancies, and supplier claims
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, tools, and procurement processes
• Provide functional leadership to the local logistics team and act as a key interface to strategic suppliers

To thrive in this role, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of operational procurement experience, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
• Experience sourcing mechanical and electrical components and services
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and manage complex supplier relationships

The base salary range for this position in Georgia is $81,600.00- $95,676.00. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $81,600.00 - $95,676.00 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
