Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Commercial Project Controller for our Service Business.

We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Commercial Project Controller to drive the commercial success of projects by acting as the financial and contractual co-pilot to the Project Manager, ensuring profitable growth, strong cash flow, and full compliance across the project lifecycle. 

 The key responsibilities include:

  • Commercial Ownership of Projects

Jointly owning project financial results with Project Manager. Drive project performance across gross profit, cash flow, working capital, and financing structure. Ensure financial transparency and accuracy of project books and forecasts.

  • Contract & Commercial Management

Lead commercial and contractual evaluation during project execution and handover. Proactively manage claims, variations, and commercial negotiations with customers and partners. Work closely with Legal, Tax, and Compliance teams to ensure proper contract structuring

  • Risk & Opportunity Management

Identify, assess, and actively steer project risks and opportunities. Develop mitigation strategies and drive implementation with the project team. Ensure alignment with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG) and Project Management standards

  • Financial Steering & Governance

Lead monthly project reviews, forecasts, and budget control. Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance, and audit requirements. Drive corrective actions to secure project targets.

  • Stakeholder & Customer Management

Act as key interface to customer’s commercial and financial representatives. Influence internal and external stakeholders to resolve commercial issues. Collaborate across functions (Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal, etc.)

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial project management / project finance / contract management. Proven track record in large-scale or complex projects (e.g., infrastructure, engineering, EPC). Exposure to customer negotiations, claims, and contract management is a strong advantage.
  • Strong business acumen with entrepreneurial mindset. Solid knowledge of project finance, cash flow management, and cost controlling. Knowledge of Project Accounting will be added advantage.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and manage senior stakeholders. Structured and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to balance attention to detail and strategic oversight.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
