We are looking for a Field Service Safety Expert. This position will be based in the United States (fully remote) with up to 75% travel.

This role supports Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs for Siemens field service operations performing work on electrical infrastructure systems. The role is highly visible and plays a direct role in strengthening safety culture across a rapidly growing field organization.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Providing hands-on safety oversight and field support for Siemens Field Service Engineers, contractors, and project teams working on electrical distribution systems
  • Conducting scheduled and unannounced jobsite visits to identify hazards, verify controls, coach teams, and reinforce safe behaviors
  • Supporting installation, commissioning, inspection, and service activities involving medium- and low-voltage switchgear and other industrial electrical equipment
  • Verifying hazardous energy control, including lockout/tagout and Live–Dead–Live testing, and exercising stop-work authority when conditions are unsafe
  • Monitoring high-risk activities such as energized work, complex installations, lifts, and elevated work to ensure compliance with safety requirements
  • Participating in incident, near-miss, and safety investigations, including fact-finding and root cause analysis
  • Partnering with leadership to drive continuous improvement, strengthen safety culture, and reduce risk across field operations

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience with the following:
    • Construction, industrial, or electrical field safety environments
    • OSHA regulations and electrical safety practices, including NFPA 70E
    • Electrical power distribution systems or industrial electrical equipment
    • Hazard recognition, jobsite inspections, and field-based safety coaching
    • Incident investigation, documentation, and corrective action follow-up
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 75% to customer job sites
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional years of experience in construction, industrial, or electrical safety leadership roles
  • Experience supporting medium- or low-voltage switchgear installation, commissioning, or service activities
  • Certifications or training such as OSHA 30-Hour Construction, OSHA 510/511, NFPA 70E, Fall Protection Competent Person, or First Aid/CPR
  • Experience working in high-reliability or complex environments such as utilities, data centers, semiconductor facilities, or large industrial sites
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence safe behaviors, manage difficult conversations, and build trust with field teams
