At Siemens, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Professional to join our team supporting Siemens GBS. In this role, you will contribute to cybersecurity and compliance activities for a global unit responsible for the development and maintenance of applications and services.

What will you do

• Support the development of a cybersecurity and compliance framework within Application Lifecycle Management
• Provide IT security & compliance advisory across a variety of customer requests
• Track security vulnerabilities and coordinate their resolution with relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate penetration testing activities across applications within GBS
• Ensure security is embedded in new initiatives, application development/acquisition, and transformation projects
• Act as Product Owner for an internal IT compliance tool:
  • Drive feature development based on business needs
  • Support end users and customers
  • Collaborate with governance functions (e.g., Data Privacy, Export Control, Cybersecurity)
  • Prioritize features, compliance checks, and workflows
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams, compliance experts, and business stakeholders

This is a dynamic role with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and grow within the organization.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–5 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or compliance-related roles
• Solid understanding of IT systems and application environments
• Experience working in cross-functional or matrix organizations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent English
• Proactive, self-driven, and structured mindset with the ability to work independently
• Strong motivation to continuously learn, improve, and take ownership

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
• Experience with vulnerability or risk management
• Experience with application lifecycle security (in-house or third-party solutions)
