Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Head of Reporting, Accounting & Controlling to lead financial operations for a key business area. This is a high-impact leadership position where you will shape financial strategy, ensure strong governance, and enable business performance through high-quality reporting and insight. Your reporting line will be directly to the Finance Director.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll lead a critical finance function and play a central role in supporting business success:

• Lead strategic financial planning to enhance performance and support long-term growth
• Lead all aspects of financial reporting and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance
• Own forecasting processes, including revenue, cost, and profitability analysis
• Provide leadership across reporting, accounting, and controlling, ensuring robust governance and risk management
• Partner with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and support decision-making
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an expert finance leader who combines commercial expertise with strategic thinking:

• Controller / Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, and controlling in a complex organisation
• Deep knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders
• Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Track record of delivering process improvements and efficiencies
• International finance experience or exposure to cross-border operations
• Familiarity with AI tools for finance transformation
• Experience using Power BI or similar analytics tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
