Job Title: Risk & Opportunity, Change & Claim Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
This position is for new factory expansion / Greenfield Transformer factory project - Purple Elephant (Site/location to be finalized)

About the Role:-

We are seeking a highly experienced Risk & Opportunity, Change & Claim Manager to lead critical governance functions for a major factory expansion project within Grid Technologies. This individual will define and enforce project standards, proactively manage risks and changes, and ensure strict control to prevent scope creep and unnecessary contingency spend. The role demands exceptional construction expertise, strong leadership in a matrix organization, and a proven ability to drive risk mitigation planning and claims resolution.

Key Responsibilities:-

Risk & Opportunity Management

• Lead workshops to identify and assess risks and opportunities across the entire project.
• Maintain and update the risk register; ensure mitigation strategies are implemented and tracked.
• Drive proactive risk management to avoid scope creep and protect contingency budgets.
• KPIs:
    • ≥ 95% of identified risks have documented mitigation plans.
    • Risk register updated within 48 hours of new risk identification.
    • Reduction of unplanned contingency spend by ≥ 10% compared to baseline.

Change Management
• Oversee all project changes across work streams, ensuring compliance with Internal Company standards.
• Define and enforce change control requirements; hold teams accountable to prevent deviations.
• Facilitate change review meetings and ensure timely approvals.
• KPIs:
    • 100% adherence to Internal change process.
   • Average change approval turnaround ≤ 5 business days.
    • Zero unauthorized scope changes.

Claim Management
• Lead and manage claims with external parties, ensuring contractual compliance and timely resolution.
• Prepare claim documentation and support negotiations to protect project interests.
• KPIs:
    • ≥ 90% of claims resolved within contractual timelines.
    • Zero missed deadlines for claim submissions.

Standards & Governance
• Define project risk, change, and claim management standards and ensure strict compliance across all work streams.
• Conduct audits and reviews to prevent process deviations.
• KPIs:
    • 100% compliance with Internal governance requirements.
    • Quarterly audit score ≥ 95%.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Collaborate effectively in a matrix organization, engaging multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively to senior management and partners.
• KPIs:
    • ≥ 90% positive feedback on communication effectiveness in stakeholder surveys.

Qualifications & Skills
• Education:  Finance background ICWA / CA in manufacturing industry , with related field in handling Greenfield projects would be added advantage

Experience:
    • Minimum 12+ years in construction project management, preferably in manufacturing facility projects.
    • Proven track record in risk and opportunity management, change control, and claim handling.
    • Experience working on projects with multiple work streams and in a matrix organization.

• Technical:
    • Strong understanding of construction contracts, risk analysis methodologies, and change management processes.
    • Expertise in risk mitigation planning and governance frameworks.

• Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and strong leadership in enforcing standards.
