For our Production team, we are looking for a Production manager to help us drive Electrification & Automation Business within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.

You’ll make an impact by

Daily Production Management：

1、Organize, plan, develop and administrate production team, to ensure carry out production plan timely and fulfill the overall target.

2、Communicate and cooperate with internal and external functions to deal with abnormal production cases, ensure on-time delivery of orders.

3、Regularly analyze production capacity based on headcount and bottlenecks, so as to provide accurate scheduling basis to planning department.

4、Focus on key production performance figures by week and by month, realize these data by digitalization, automation ways.

People management in department：

1、Be responsible for production scheduling and attendance approval management.

2、Shopfloor management, including safety, 5S, attendance, pricinple, and performance.

3、Focus on team building, OJT training, and special training by external resources.

4、Ongoing staff skills development/assessment/recruitment.

5、Potential and succession risk management.

Quality control：

1、Supervise and control the production process to guarantee qualified products.

2、Be responsible for regular quality sense training to workers, implement effective quality methods strictly based on quality control plan.

3、Focus on quality control points and KPIs, such as FPY for test stations. Improve those KPIs based on effective data analysis and continuous improvement actions.

4、Be responsible for nonconforming product management, reduce cost waste caused by quality defects through improvement measures. 

5、Support repair work of returned products, cooperate with cause analysis and take improvement measures to reduce complaints and improve customer satisfaction.

6、Support for new product and new technology introduction, verification and release.

7、Well, Managing of production related controlled documents.

QMS&HSEMS：

1、Be responsible for passing the ISO external audit (ISO9001/14001/45001/50001)related production control process audit requirements, as well internal audit and kinds of official audit from customer.

2、Establish safety responsibility system and objectives within the department, identify hazardous environmental factors, and establish emergency management mechanism.

3、Promote zero injury culture in the production department, establish occupational health records, standardize the implementation of safety accident reporting and safety improvement.

4、Pay attention to the use of labor protection supplies, and strictly implement the chemical/solid waste treatment management process.

Asset and cost control：

1、As the asset owner, be responsible for the management of fixed assets inside the department and regular stocktaking, implement the management of equipment, tools and fixtures: including the introduction, verification, calibration, maintenance and scrapping of changes within the life cycle, make strict maintenance plans for key equipment, and strictly control equipment parameters.

2、As the head of the production cost center, carry out the department cost analysis regularly, continuously pay attention to and implement the measures to reduce cost and increase efficiency.

Continuous improvement:

1、Complete all production targets issued by the department (3i, efficiency, safety, energy, etc.)

2、Responsible for daily Gemba Walk & EHS problems found timely closure and feedback.

3、Drive the implementation of lean, digitalization, automation and other concepts in the production department, and promote the relevant success stories.

4、Organize regular Gemba walk for improvement in the shopfloor(Kaizen).

Other daily work：

1、Support R&D, technical, quality and localization of new projects of product verification and small-lot production.

2、Complete other assigned tasks by management.

Your defining qualities

• College degree or above.
• At least 5 years’ working experience in production management.
• Mechanical or electrical related profession.
• Know well of electrical industry standard / ISO welding standard (TIG/MAG) / ISO 9001&14001&45001.
• Know-how of lean production concept and practice.
• Automation & digitalization projects involved.
• Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Internal Personal & Personal: Communication and interpersonal skills; planning and project management skills; a strategic approach to work; the ability to facilitate change; attention to detail; Intermediate level of English in written and spoken.
• Function & Method: Analytical and problem-solving ability; skills in numerical and statistical analysis.
