Marketing Planning Intern 

  • At Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will join a globally distributed team that is driving the future of marketing. The Industry Planner team is responsible for developing and executing the global marketing strategy by industry and is directly accountable for achieving the expected outcomes.  

  • The Industry Planners operate as strategic leaders within a matrixed environment, collaborating closely with Sales, Strategy, Product, and global and regional marketing teams to deliver measurable pipeline impact. 

  • The Marketing Planning Intern will work with this team and industry pods contributing to the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns and programs. 

  • Bring your enthusiasm with customer focused, cross-functional collaboration, engagement strategies, and execution, you’ll immediately make an impact through a positive relationship with the entire industry pod as well as industry marketing, content marketing, digital platform team, and vendors. 

  • You think customer-first when you build digital experiences and journeys. You are dedicated to collecting customer feedback to improve the product and customer journey. You love to test, optimize, and try new tactics. You can think strategically and are willing to execute the plan. 

  • You will gain knowledge on campaign execution and nurture-based marketing and the analytical skills to research and analyze data to build out new personas for our campaigns.  

  • You have an entrepreneurial approach and can both independently and collaboratively conceptualize persona development and methodology. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Define campaign strategy and objectives and execute specific programs to achieve these goals against a defined budget. 

  • Uses online project management and communication tools like Wrike, and Teams while working in a fast-paced environment to lead cross functional coordination  

  • Assembles reports to answer specific business questions using data from a variety of sources – Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce.com, Bombora, and additional external vendors. 

  • Leverages AI to automate repetitive and manual data reporting and analysis. 

  • Measures and analyzes effectiveness of campaign or program and recommend optimizations. 

  • Present plans and performance to stakeholders and suggest solutions for improvement. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at a recognized US University 

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Strong knowledge of business-to-business marketing tactics techniques, and strategies 

  • Basic analytics capabilities familiar with different data collection and measurement techniques 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 

  • Strong process orientation: able to analyze requests, determine scope, research options, recommend a solution, execute, and measure project success 




The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education. You’ll Benefit From
The hourly pay range for this position is 18-50 per hour for first time Interns or 18-50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
