About the Job
This Finance Excellence Program (FEP) internship supports Brightly Software, a Siemens Smart Infrastructure business, in advancing financial transparency and data‑driven decision‑making across its global software operations. The role contributes to improving product cost visibility, strengthening ARR and revenue analytics, and modernizing financial reporting through process improvements, automation, and emerging technologies. This opportunity also provides exposure to Siemens’ innovative environment and serves as a potential pathway to the Finance Excellence Program (FEP).
What you will do
- Collaborate across Product, Technology, and Finance teams to improve software product cost transparency and advance the quality of Product P&L digital dashboards.
- Partner with Revenue, Marketing, and Finance teams to enhance ARR and revenue reporting, along with forecasting capabilities.
- Support the finance organization in identifying and implementing process and tool enhancements, including improvements in cost‑tracking transparency.
- Challenge existing financial reporting and analytics practices by applying knowledge of emerging trends, industry standards, and modern tools, with a strong emphasis on automation and AI‑enabled solutions.
What you need
We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
- Pursuing an MBA , MA, Financial Accounting or advanced degree by December 2026 or May, 2027
- 5–10 years of relevant finance experience in a global industrial company
- You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
- You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
- You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.
- You have experience in change, and in transformational situations.
Location and Duration
- Availability: Full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 weeks (May–July or June–August)
- Location: Hybrid - combination of onsite work in Raleigh, NC and remote work (no relocation or housing stipend provided).
- Global Mobility: Willingness and ability to relocate internationally for participation in the Siemens Finance Excellence Program (FEP) upon successful completion of the internship.

The hourly pay range for this position is $56 per hour for first time Interns or $56 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
